If God Brings You To It...

I am going through a tough time right now. I just had knee surgery and Dec. 2 my wife is having a major operation. I have not worked in two weeks and bills are starting to pile up. Christmas is coming and we won't be able to buy gifts for anyone this year.

I had a thought from my childhood today, I remembered being told "He (God) won't put anymore on you than you can handle." Well now that I am older and wiser. I have read the bible enough to know that saying is a lie.

God will give us more than we can handle. By doing so we have to rely on Him. That is what He wants. He does not want us to handle our problems, He wants to handle them for us.

Zech 4:6 says "Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit saith the Lord"

Matthew 19:26, Mark 10:27 & Luke 18:27says "With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God."

II Cor 3:5 says "Not as if we were able by ourselves to do anything for which we might take the credit; but our power comes from God;"

and lastly Roman 8:28 states "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

With these in mind I just keep praying and pressing on!
